LexEnergy is pleased to announce that Matilda Thorsell, co-founder and previously Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. With a background in mechanical engineering and a proven track record in both technical and strategic leadership, Matilda has been instrumental in shaping LexEnergy since its inception. Her appointment marks a natural progression that reflects her ongoing leadership and positions the company strongly for the next stage of growth.
The transition comes as LexEnergy continues to expand and strengthen its leadership team. Over the past six months, Ebba Fröling joined as Chief of Staff, bringing experience from co-founding a startup and driving strategic alignment. Elisabeth Elg stepped in as Chief Financial Officer, with more than 15 years of experience in financial leadership, including at Zeekr. Joakim Robinson also joined as Production Manager, contributing deep operational and engineering expertise from his work at Novo Energy and SKF. Most recently, Johan Lindström has joined as Sales Manager, bringing extensive experience in commercial leadership across the energy and automotive sectors. With a proven track record in building high-performing sales organizations, launching brands, and driving revenue growth, Johan will play a key role in accelerating LexEnergy’s market expansion. Together, this leadership team provides a strong foundation for execution at scale and long-term growth.
