LexEnergy and ScottishPower Join Forces

We’re excited to announce that LexEnergy and ScottishPower have signed a collaboration agreement to explore how LexHub can help enable ultra-fast EV charging in grid-constrained areas across the UK.

ScottishPower, a key player in the energy transition and part of the Iberdrola Group, is investing heavily in modernising the electricity grid and sees the need for new, flexible solutions to support growing electrification demands. With many locations facing grid connection challenges, deploying smart, grid-enhancing charging solutions like LexHub could unlock new possibilities for EV infrastructure expansion.

Through this collaboration, we will work together to validate technical integration, test performance, and assess how LexHub can contribute to grid resilience and ultra-fast charging deployment. This marks an important step in accelerating the transition to a smarter, more reliable energy system that supports widespread EV adoption.

Andrew Mouat Head of Smart Mobility, ScottishPower:
“As we continue investing in a more modern and flexible grid, we see a clear need for innovative solutions that can enable ultra-fast EV charging even in constrained areas. By collaborating with LexEnergy, we aim to explore how new technologies can complement our approach and enhance charging infrastructure across Scotland.”

Matilda Thorsell, CEO of LexEnergy:
“ScottishPower’s forward-thinking approach aligns perfectly with our mission to revolutionize EV fast-charging with grid-enhancing energy solutions. We’re excited to take this step together and demonstrate how LexHub can enable a smarter, more resilient charging network.”
